“A getaway awaits on your palette, at the end of your paintbrush, and on the blank canvas before you.”
Point amouR
Saturday 11 June 2022
In this three-hour painting workshop, participants will paint land and seascapes using oil paint on canvas board. Participants are encouraged to work from their own scenes, inspired by the workshop surroundings at Point Amour Lighthouse; however, they may also follow the instructor’s lead and paint along with her selection. Workshop instructor and artist, Jenn Thornhill Verma, will guide participants through creating their own original painting on board canvas, working through the stages of selecting subject matter, sketching, underpainting, palette-mixing and painting.
